Location

The nearly one-hundred-hectare size and its lenghty coastlines makes the Lake Lupa the largest beach in Hungary, located on the border of Budakalász, 30 minutes from the center of Budapest.

Thanks to the continuous development of the venue, the available services are almost countless. The Kids Beach offers a variety of games and water activities for little guests, but the largest water adventure beach of Hungary is also located here. The wakeboarding track and diving centre are very popular, as well. As far as water sports are concerned; kayakers, sailors, SUP riders and surfers also love the lake. The beach also offers beach volleyball, football and handball, but the street workout park and teqball table are also worth a try. Anglers are welcome at the Lupa Fishing Centre.

Lupa’s gastronomic offer is also unique. From the well-known beach buffets to Michelin-starred restaurants on the promenade, you can enjoy the traditional “lángos”, boiled corn, or even artisanal burgers and other national cuisine.

Lupa Beach has already proven to be an excellent SUP venue, a good example is the “Loopa” SUP cup organised by the Hungarian Canoe Federation each year, which always attracts plenty of people to the lake.
